The Center's New Home
With a visionary plan for the future, The Center purchased and has moved into its new home at 1301 E. Colfax. It is a central meeting place, information hub and resource center.
The 15,000-square-foot facility in the heart of Denver has served thousands of individuals across the state and the region. It has re-energized, re-engaged and revitalized the LGBT movement in Colorado, solidifying our positive role in the community and impact on the Rocky Mountain region.
It serves as the inspirational home for 5,000 youth that use our space annually -- a number that is expected to double by 2014. It is helping us build, refine and expand our outreach to elders, families, and the transgender community. It is serving as a meeting space, social hub and professional networking venue.
The four-story, state-of-the-art building has meant a new level of visibility for The Center and for the Colorado LGBT community.
