Everyday Yoga - Out of the Studio and Into Life!
Wednesdays | 5:30pm-6:45pm
No mats, no blocks, no straps, no problem! “Everyday Yoga” is about learning yoga concepts and tools, then applying them to our everyday life. Over six weeks, we will explore many of the basic yoga concepts of using our breath and chair/wall poses to quiet the mind and focus on the now. We will learn and practice techniques that we can use at home, office, bike, or hike. Wherever we are on our life journey, let’s adapt yoga to support you! If you never have ‘done’ yoga, this is a good place to start. And the time to do so is NOW.
Wear comfortable, daily life clothing and bring a friend!
Wednesdays | 5:30pm-6:30pm
A GLBTQ and Ally friendly Alcoholics Anonymous group. Anyone is welcome! Meets weekly.
Rainbow Alley Northern Colorado
Thursdays | 12-7pm & on Fridays | 12pm-8pm
Rainbow Alley is the youth services department of The Center. As part of the department we have a safe, drop-in space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and intersex youth and allies ages 12 to 21.
Rainbow Alley youth and their families take part in support, education, advocacy, and leadership opportunities—and have fun!—in an environment free from discrimination, hate, drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. We recognize the emotions that youth and their families face when confronted with issues of sexual orientation and gender identity. Rainbow Alley offers resources and referrals to support those in need.
Free & Confidential HIV/Hep C Testing
Fourth Thursdays | 4:30pm-6:30pm
The Northern Colorado AIDS Project will be doing free, confidential HIV and Hepatitis C testing on the fourth Thursday of each month. Feel free to drop in with your questions/concerns and get the facts from the people in the know.
Fridays | 9-11am
Weekly, drop-in coffee social for people of all ages. Free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fresh pastries. You never know who will be there!
Fridays | 6pm-8pm
This group is especially welcoming of LBT women interested in expanding their circle of friends. Anyone is welcome to attend this invigorating social hour. We begin with a fun and creative "icebreaker" to stimulate our imaginations and spark a lively conversation.
