The Center is pleased to have been chosen again as a 9Health Fair site. This year, The Center will host the fair on Monday, April 19, from 7 a.m. to 12 noon.
A variety of health screenings will be available at The Center that morning, including blood screenings. A van will be here to provide mammograms for eligible women. We will also host a community room, where representatives from health and social organizations from the Denver LGBT community will be available for counseling.
Soles for Souls will be there collecting gently used shoes for those in need.
9Health Fair, sponsored by 9News, is Colorado's largest volunteer-driven, non-profit health fair program that serves 100,000 people at 170 statewide 9Health Fair locations each year.

The Center is connecting you with LGBT-friendly health-care professionals
The Center works with doctors, hospitals, health care practices, and the community to instill greater knowledge of and sensitivity toward the unique health care needs of the LGBT community, and to ensure higher-quality health care for all gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people in Colorado.
One of the greatest resources we provide to our community is our health-care provider list. This is an extensive list of health-care professionals in Colorado that have filled out a survey that asks about their experience with and senstivity to the LGBT community. Each provider's survey results are reviewed by The Center to ensure that he or she is in tune to the needs of the LGBT community.
